The 12M project meeting was held in Milano and Como (Italy) at Solvay (SSPI) and SAATI facilities, 11th-12th April 2017.

All the partners were present and WP leaders presented a summary of the activities and achievements attained on the first year of the project in each WP, as well as the plans for the next 6 months period.

After defining the initial set of materials as well as characterization methodologies for the different components of 1D-Neon in the first 6m period, results and developments were presented (WP1 and 2). The first developments of fibre components were presented (WP3 started M6). Plans for implementation of WP4 (starting M12) were also discussed. Modeling and simulation developments for fiber transistors using Silvaco TCAD tools were presented in WP5. WP6 encompassed the discussion of safety and standardization procedures. Planned dissemination/exploitation events including the upcoming webinar courses and dissemination materials (leaflets and newsletters) were presented in WP7.
